The statement documents systematic violations, including arbitrary detention, torture, and forced deportations, in clear breach of Egypt’s obligations under international law and the principle of non refoulement. It highlights the plight of vulnerable groups such as women, children, the elderly, and refugees from Darfur and Kordofan, while calling for urgent action from Egyptian authorities, UNHCR, and international human rights mechanisms.
