The Rapid Support Forces and its Allied Tribal Militias Attacked Some Villages Around AL Dair Mountain for 14th to 20th April 2024

From Sunday 14th to Saturday 20th April 2024, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and some of its Allied tribal Militias from South Kordofan (the Nuba Mountains) attacked numbersofvillagesaroundALDairMountains,attheborders ofSouthKordofanand North Kordofan States 20 Kilometres South of El Rahad town in North Kordofan, killing civilians, looting and burning down villages of:

1) Sidra 2) Gardod Al Nour 3) Hijararr 4) Kalma 5) Tolbis 6) Al Damir 7) Al Salam Neighbourhood 8) Ardiba 9) Farla 10) Al Tomat 11)Taiba 12) Aradiba 13) Umm Togoz

The militias managed to kill around 80 people, took around 2000 of livestock, and looted the villagers’ stock of sorghum, furniture, houseware, numbers of lorries, motorcycles and destroying water sources forcing around ten thousand to flee, many people climbed the mountains without food and water, according to four families managed to scaped from the mountains on the night describing the situation of thousands of children and elderly as desperate without food, water and medications.

The militias also kidnapped some people taken them to nearby town of AL Simah and asking their relative for ransom

On 19th April 2024 they attacked Khaloat Shikh ElTayib (Quranic School) at outskate of Omroaba killing two children immediately and injuring others one of them later died.
