Urgent Action Required: Arrest and Detention of Activists

Justice Africa Sudan express deep concern regarding the recent arrests, detention and prosecution of 7 youth activists’ members of Sudan Christian Church Al Ezba Khartoum North, the activists were arrested by Sudan Armed forces (SAF) military Intelligent (MI) in Shandi River Nile state, when they arrived from EL Ezba Khartoum North on 2nd January 20025, fleeing from the fighting between SAF and the Rapid Support Forces (SRF).

SAF military Intelligent accused of them with collaborating with RSF and some with theft under article 174 of Sudan Penal Code 1991, and according to that sentenced them to 5- and 6-years imprisonment on 16th January 2025 , without allowing them to bring lawyers to defend them in the court and without any witnesses or evidences, and now they are in AL Damer prison the accused are …read more
